HUMBOLDT CRABS BASEBALL CAMP
We will again offer 5 youth camps for the 8-14 age group. This year, our advanced camp (ages 12 and up) will be offered in conjunction with the 2nd Arcata camp (July 7-11), as a breakout session. See below for further information. The cost for all camps will be $85 per child. The fee includes an authentic Crabs Baseball Camp T-shirt, a youth season pass and ten adult tickets.
2008 Camp Dates are as follows:
June 16 - 20 Arcata - Arcata Ballpark (9 am to 1 pm)
July 7 - 11 Arcata - Arcata Ballpark (9 am to 1 pm)
July 14 - 18 Fortuna - Newburg Park (9 am to 1 pm)
July 21 - 25 Eureka - Redwood Fields in Cutten (9 am to 1 pm)
July 28 - Aug 1 Arcata - Arcata Ballpark (9 am to 1 pm)
Cost is $85.00.
Youth Camp:
Youth Camp is for boys & girls, age 8-14, who want to learn all defensive positions and have a chance to play, learn and improve at the position of their choice. Baseball offense, hitting, bunting, and base running, is taught from the ground up. Teamwork, sportsmanship, and communication are stressed. Group instruction, game situations, team games and practice with pitching machines are some of the activities the camper will experience.
Junior/Senior Advanced Camp:
Junior/Senior Advanced Camp is for the serious players who want help with their batting, pitching, or other skills they feel need improvement. The minimum age for this camp is 12 years. This camp is designed to help the player make the transition from Little League to Babe Ruth. Only 15 campers will be admitted for this session.
